Using an Instagram Business Profile; here’s everything you need to know!

With more than 25 million Business Profiles and a total of 800 million profiles on Instagram in 2018, Instagram has become an important tool for businesses to market their products and services. Using Instagram in order to engage and interact with your audience is really effective – if you’re using it the right way. In this blog post, we’re going to tell you how to use Instagram for your business.

Post content of real value for your audience
Given the fact that Instagram is a visual platform, it’s important that you’re delivering high-quality content to your audience in order to attract them to your profile. It’s not about just posting some pictures of the products you’re offering to increase your brand awareness (in some cases it’s actually better to not do it). With the largest amount of start-ups ever before measured, make sure your business is standing out from the crowd. For instance use humor to engage with your audience; post some memes, funny quotes and jokes that are relevant to your business from time to time. The point of doing this, is to add value to Instagram’s community, rather than only using the platform to advertise. It‘s of absolute value when trying to achieve long-term success.

Keep a consistent theme
Every single post that you’re posting should be good and offer value on its own. You need to create a consistent theme to keep your audience’s loyalty. A consistent theme consists of recognizable hashtags and captions to Stories and photos among other thing. So be creative in order to stand out from the crowd. The more consistent you are with your posts, the more of a chance you have to attract your target audience. A lot of people think it’s better to have various themes in order to attract different people, but sticking to just one consistent theme will help you create stronger and more genuine connections.

Create long-term engagements with your audience
There are a lot of ways out there to engage with your audience. Try for example replying to comments of your potential customers, run contests and giveaways or use the Polls feature on your Instagram Stories. By doing this, you’re ensuring that your audience will stay engaged to your content, which will lead to long-term success.
